New bird for me

Out walking at lunch today and think I spotted a sora, Porzana carolina, seen here http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/sora/id.  It was out in the muddy water, but went and hid in the plants when I got closer, reminded me of an American coot, but smaller, bobbed more, twitched it's tail feathers like a distressed green heron.  I didn't hear any vocalizations. In same area, female mallard with six, very newly hatched ducklings, saw the male later, standing on a poplar root, out of the water, in the shade, but it's glowing orange feet gave it away.  Also cinnamon teals, two males and a female, tree and barn swallows, also wrens hopping solitarily in the mud.  In addition there was a gadwall couple resting in the tall grasses along the shoreline of the pond.  This was all in the Montlake Fill Natural Area.
