It has been mild and wet. A break in the rain for most of the day but not in the mild: been over 50 degrees for over a week, predicted to be almost 60 degrees for the upcoming week. Lots of flowers out. Went for a walk earlier saw crocuses, daffodils, and plum trees in bloom. Then later, wandering around the house, I looked out our living room window and was happily surprised to see flowering quince blooming. One of my favorite spring flowers, always a pleasure to find them in my yard. I cut a few sprigs for the house, but here is a picture. Second is of clematis.
