Flowering plum tree in bloom at gas station in Ballard this morning.  Think it's been like that more than just today.  The chicken doesn't seem to want to come out into the weather, but she's very talkative in her coop.  I practice various languages on her in the morning. (She answers back in the soft chicken voice...in the chicken language.)

The day is mild. This morning while walking to class I saw that some of the bushes had spring buds emerging. Is it early?
