The robins seem to have disappeared, haven't seen them in days. There's a lot of food they like too, with all the rain and the ripening of fruit on trees.

Possible sighting of one flying across the road, out of an ash tree this morning.

Every morning, more red and orange in the trees. Some years the vine maples seem to go only yellow and brown, this year red. It must be the weather.

There is no let up in the rain.
